Prior to SureTech Alberto developed online entertainment ranging from the immensely successful 1999 teen hub iTurf.com with Delias, Inc; to massive multiplayer games and arcade environments for Disney, ESPN and others while working with Topaz Group.While at Topaz Group Alberto also developed technology projects for Fortune 50 clients, including Schlumberger and American Express.
Dana brings a breadth of experience in management, user training, fundraising and experience with the non-profit sector to SureTech. She was the Director of Volunteer Programs for Partnerships for Parks for seven years, which included conceptualizing their content management database of over 60,000 as well as their website at itsmypark.org.
Prior to that she worked as a Program Officer for the Foundation for a Civil Society encouraging civic participation initiatives like Rock the Vote in Slovakia.She was a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Czech Republic, where she initiated computer training for teachers and introduced the user of computers for a language lab. She studied as an English major at Yale. Dana is featured here with company mascot, Catalina Evelyn Molina.
David has been working with and programming computers since he was introduced to a Hewlett-Packard programmable calculator in junior high school. Since then he has programmed many different computers in a variety of languages (some of which are even still useful)
He attended Yale University and, after graduation, went to work for what was then a small-software company in Redmond, WA. - Microsoft. In his thirteen years at Microsoft he had the opportunity to work on a variety of software projects in the Office Development Group. David held a variety of positions at Microsoft including Development Team Lead and Development Manager. After he left Microsoft, he started David McKinnis Consulting to help non-profits and small businesses use technology more effectively.
Tom has been a leading entrepreneur in the computer industry for more than three decades, during which time he has founded seven successful high-technology companies, and influenced the success of several more. His first company, Applied Logic, an early provider of Managed Hosting Services, was acquired by Raytheon in 1980. He next founded XNET Corp., creating the first fully automated financial futures and commodities exchange which was acquired by the International Futures and Commodities Exchange in 1983.
Jim is a computer nerd at heart, destined to work in IT. Jim started his career as a desktop support specialist and very quickly moved up to overseeing onsite networks and server rollouts. Jim brought his experience in local network setup and desktop support to SureTech over seven years ago. He started with SureTech on major project rollouts as well as on centralizing onsite monitoring and support with our cloud solutions. With his passion for cloud engineering, he is now SureTech's lead designer of the SureOffice environment with expertise in Citrix and Microsoft Server. His passion is continually string to wrangle the Cloud to work for SMBs as seamlessly as possible. Jim has a ridiculously big movie collection, loves all things Japanese, and will try almost any food at least once...just not tomatoes.
Mark is a veteran of the IT evolution that has occurred in the past 30+ years. With a career that includes hardware, software, consulting, tech support and training, Mark has seen it all.
Positions at major institutions like The Blackstone Group and Oracle / BEA Systems have given Mark the chance to implement large and complex systems. While consulting, training and tech support jobs have allowed Mark to become finely attuned to what small and medium-sized businesses need and want.
Mark trained to be an English teacher at Northwestern University, only to find a home in IT by answering an ad in the Washington Post. Since then his career has included operating mainframe computers, writing Cobol code, training PC novices, performing and managing tech support teams, implementing software solutions and much more.Mark's strength is his ability to communicate clearly and openly (maybe it?s the English teacher in him) and to empathize with customers and get their problems solved.
Daniel has been an IT Consultant and Systems Manager for more than 15 years. In that time, he has led greenfield installations as well as enterprise Exchange/Active Directory migrations in some of the largest Citrix implementations in the world. Eight years ago, Daniel took his large-scale enterprise experience and began to apply it to the CPA industry by offering Citrix Cloud solutions to small and regional CPAs nationwide through CPACloud.com. SureTech is delighted to have Dan with us on our management team as we grow our Cloud Desktop business.
Jeff brings over 20 years of server and networking engineering to SureTech. He oversees complex multi-tenant onsite networking set ups in addition to cloud networking configurations for printers. He is an avid car enthusiast – even sponsored for autocrossing and drag racing!
Andrew is a graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and comes to SureTech after providing desktop, network and server support for McQuilling Partners. Andrew ensures all project plans are fully documented and works with the customer to ensure smooth rollout of new solutions.
Zac is a multi-talented, fast- typing, smooth talking support specialist with a penchant for learning new things and helping others. His background in customer service and marketing are extensive and cover a wide range. From hawking credit cards at the World Series to managing a customer service territory you will find that Zac brings unique package of problem solving, work ethic and desire to get the job done right.
After graduating from BITS Pilani, Shashank worked at a few startups along with his friends. After meeting Tom, he eventually found his natural fit as a systems engineer - solving problems in a fast paced global environment. Shashank played a key role in establishing the offshore office in Hyderabad and managing the business operations. When there are no software deployments, Shashank travels to his native village and loves to spend his time in the farm yards. Grateful for his society, he also do skills-based-volunteering in the local colleges.
Sharon has been with SureTech for over 5 years now and in that time automated the accounting and billing systems. Sharon handles equipment orders and processing for customers, accounting and overall office management. She started her career in finance. She loves traveling and has made it 48 US states and 30 countries and counting. Her favorite memory is Green Island, Great Barrier Reef.
Sai holds a Master's degree in Computer Applications. After completing his Bachelor's degree, he joined in WIPRO as a System Administrator. Later he worked with FUJITSU for 3 years as a Senior Server Administrator. Presently, he is a part of SURETECH offering services in Windows Server Administration and handling Windows team operations. Sai is passionate for learning and teaching new stuff. He enjoys spending time with his family and loves mentoring and playing with his kid.
Nick has a B.S. in Information Technology. He comes to SureTech after 1.5 years of providing desktop, network and custom application support for McQuilling Partners Inc. & Weiss Real-state Research. He enjoys tennis, mountain biking, gaming, is an avid car enthusiast, and actively involved in his local church.
